This weekend The
Warkworth
Lilac
Festival Committee is
providing the public with an amazing opportunity to take home
FREE and reduced-cost lilac bushes during this fundraising event
in preparation for the 2011 Warkworth Lilac Festival.
The event takes place at
9:30 am on Saturday May 22, 2010 at the
Millennium Trail in Warkworth at the
Fairgrounds Entryway.
The Festival
Committee has obtained 120 lilac plants in two varieties of
Preston Lilacs - Royalty and James MacFarlane -
at a retail value of up to $45. The
first
20 lilacs are
FREE
with a
limit one plant per person. The second grouping will be offered
at $22.00 per plant; the third grouping at $29.00; the fourth
grouping at $35.00; the fifth grouping going for $40.00, and the
final grouping at $45.00.
This is a one-time event. All sales (including taxes)
