Peonies in bloom today:

Pink Hawaiian Coral - Always stunning

Cherry Luau - Early not mid-season?

Sweetie - A beautiful stout bush full of buds

White Fleeceflower With Bearded Irises

Persicaria 'polymorpha' is a fabulous plant for almost any border. Large clumps of pointed leaves and large, fluffy, creamy white plumes grow from immense, non-invasive, non-spreading, fleshy rootstock. It adds structure to the back of the border and groups well with many other plants. Here it provides a lovely late spring backdrop for purple irises.

Once this plant takes hold it is a dependable performer providing a show all summer long.  A versatile plant that is tolerant of wet sites, White Fleeceflower is well-suited to waterside plantings.
