Peony (Herbaceous Hybrid) - 'Merry Mayshine'

We are impatient for the peonies to be in bloom in our field - but it's still a few days away yet, with of course, the exception of the early blooming fern-leaf hybrids 'Little Red Gem', 'Early Scout' and 'Merry Mayshine'.

'Merry Mayshine' at 28" is a slightly taller, more statuesque variety than the others.  If you like red in your garden this exceptional plant with its beautiful bloom should be included. Awarded the Award of Landscape Merit in 2009 by the American Peony Society.
